Refund and Returns Policy

At Fall River Taekwon-Do, we are committed to providing a positive experience for all our members. However, we understand that sometimes situations arise that may require a refund. Please review our refund policy below for details on how we handle cancellations, returns, and refunds.

1. Membership Refunds

  • Annual and Monthly Memberships: Membership fees are generally non-refundable. If you cancel your membership, any future charges (for monthly memberships) will be stopped, but past payments are non-refundable.
  • Special Circumstances: If you experience a medical emergency or other significant personal issue that prevents you from continuing your membership, please contact us. We will review your case and may offer a refund or credit on a case-by-case basis, at our discretion.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your membership at any time by notifying us in writing via email or in person. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of a membership.

2. Class Fees and Program Refunds

  • Refund Eligibility: Class fees are non-refundable once a class or program has commenced. If you need to cancel before a class starts, we will issue a full refund or credit, depending on the circumstances. Refunds for classes will not be issued after participation has begun.
  • Trial Classes: If you sign up for a trial class and decide not to continue, we will provide a full refund if the class has not been attended. Once the trial class has been completed, the standard membership policy applies.

3. Merchandise Refunds

  • Returns and Exchanges: Merchandise purchased through our online store or at the Club can be returned for a refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase, provided the items are in unused, original condition with all tags and packaging intact.
  • Non-Refundable Items: Custom or personalized items (such as embroidered uniforms or training gear) and sale items are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
  • Process for Returns: To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us with your order details. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

4. Refund Process

  • How Refunds Are Issued: Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment processor.
  • Refunds for Special Circumstances: In the case of special circumstances (e.g., medical issues, injury, relocation), refunds or credits may be offered at the sole discretion of Fall River Taekwon-Do. Supporting documentation (such as a doctor’s note) may be required.

5. No-Shows or Missed Classes

We do not offer refunds for missed classes or “no-shows.” It is the responsibility of the member to attend scheduled classes, and no make-up classes or refunds will be offered for missed sessions unless there is an exceptional circumstance.

6. Changes to the Refund Policy

Fall River Taekwon-Do reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated version will be effective immediately upon publication. We recommend that you review the Refund Policy periodically to stay informed about any changes.
